I discovered woodturning while living in Cherokee, NC, and the craft has stayed with me ever since. After retiring in 2023, I returned to the lathe full-time, guided by a master woodturner in my hometown. Today, I create handcrafted pieces from reclaimed and naturally fallen wood—each one unique, and each one made to last for generations.

I start with green wood, shape it, seal it, and let it dry slowly before finishing. Functional bowls are treated with food-safe walnut oil, while display pieces receive a clear lacquer finish. Every piece I make is one-of-a-kind.
